Quick question :

Picked up my STi Type UK Prodrive (WR blue) on friday afternoon (replaced MY00W Turbo) yesterday, whilst driving up the M11 I noticed the rear spoiler was wobbling, not at the sides just in the middle, anyone else noticed this?? is this normal?

fyi....it 'wobbled' at speeds ranging from 45ish to 90

Yep, mine does that as well (I think they all do). 2000 miles, and it just keeps getting better

Hi Kris,
Welcome to Scoobynet, Have the same problem, but i wouldnt describe it as wobbling, more like a vibration in the middle of the wing but its only very slight.
Enjoy the car m8, mines on 1150 miles now and the engine still feels tight.

Yup, both ours do that.

Going up the M11? You must be in our neck of the woods then (Saffron Walden area, without being too precise ).

Tired a few STI's at the weekend with the prodrive kit all of them had the wobble.

Thanks for replying, feeling a lot better about it now, it wasn't really bothering me but its good to know that it is a common trait.......

and I was on the M11 going from Chelmsford to St Neots near Cambridge, it was one of the few times that I have actually volunteered to visit my girlfriend's parents..........

Sounds a bit worrrying to me guys, but i suppose the wobbling just means its doing its job and providing the downforce for the car. Not just for cosmetic purposes see.

My UK300 spoiler does the same thing.

Followed an Evo on my bike the other day and that spoiler wobbles too!

P-Sti now with 3700 miles. Same/same regarding rear spoiler vibration.
