Gauge Help PLEASE
Hi all, just got my scooby back on the road after a long break but have snapped the needle for the temp gauge so have got my hands on a water temp and oil temp gauge but to be honest i don't have a glue as to where is the best place to put them( in the engine not the dash that is.LOL). Can anyone help. I'm also after a triple pod to house them in along with the boost gauge i have.Any one got one going cheapish.??????
All help gratefully excepted.....

I have just fitted 3 gauges to my scooby and assuming yours is a pre facelift your only option is a 3 gauge pod that goes up the windscreen pillar (Nomad racing £51). You could fit a universal pod to the dash top but it will be up to you to make it fit/look good.
The oil temp goes into an adaptor thats replaces a blanking bung above No3 cylinder (the totest place on a scooby engine) To be honest, I havent fitted that sensor to my car yet as you need to remove the intercooler and I havent had the time yet. Aux water temp gauges normally have a sender that is fitted into the top hose near the thermostat (should come with the gauge?) I dont think you can use the original gauge sender but someone else may know if it is possible.
Good luck!!

ta for that. i had a feeling that i would have to go down the pillar route as i was thinking that to fit one to the dash would just end up looking like i'd blue peter'd it.LOL
