Default mapped 2000 turbo to blob sti prodrive

hi all

i still currently own the 2000 turbo for now but have just bought a real cracking wrx sti ppp blob eye and well i can see why you guys always say go for the sti if you can what a car its also got the prodrive lowering springs on it, the turbo is quick but this is a monster well it feels it anyway , 53k on the clock fsh and mint but cant post any pictures cus dont no how lol . what i wanted to no was is there anything i need to no about the driving style of the sti as i recall reading a couple of threads about people loosing the **** end and spining it. is there anything else that i need to no .

That's weird my blob STi PPP felt slow after my mapped classic which was only 270bhp. That was until I got it remapped to 330/320. Alot better now. Standard newage STi's with or without PPP aren't particularly quick imo though.

maybe i need to get it on the rollers then to check cus it certainly is not slower than the turbo . its just had a new turbo fitted if that makes any difference.

Standard turbo or upgrade? Yea get it on the rollers, if it's pushing out >300 then yea it will feel quicker than a stage1 classic. What was your classic running? One tip don't lift off at speed when cornering

thanks for that its a vf 35 but i think thats standards isnt it , its got defi gauges and looks to be boosting from about 2000rpm ish i believe. oh and my classic is 270/270
