Default HELP!!! New Exedy stage 1 clutch slipping!!!!

hi i smashed my gearbox and bought another and put a brand new exedy stage 1 racing clutch in it while the box was off!

iv had the clutch in for 3 months and its slipping already! i do power it off the line sometimes but surely a racing clutch should be able to take a few of these! for example, i sit in 5th gear at 1500rpm and put my foot hard down, the revs build to 3k and the turbo winds up fully and then the clutch slips and the revs go on the limiter!

surely it cant be the clutch gone already? dont these clutches have warrenty??? if they do have warrenty they should pay for the labour im going to have to fork out to get the old clutch out and the replacement clutch put back in!

im very worried as i apid £300 for this clutch and thats without fitting!

help please guys

where did you get the clutch from ?
i have one fitted to my 375 bhp classic and have no issues yet touch wood,
i have heard there was a bad batch of these a while back regarding a new material that was used in them, they have changed back now though , should'nt be slipping at 300 bhp anyway.

Hate to say it but under warranty they will say its because the flywheel was not skimmed

Only slightly when cold, not a problem. Lots of threads on here about Exedy judder, some worse than others.
