BIG UP THE CLASSIC IMPREZA :)

Just had my 1996 impreza sti in for it's mot! Passed without one problem :) reliable classic scooby wins the race again....yyyeeeehaaa!

Its like any car, keep them well maintained and they will pass things like MOT's, but look at alot out there (mainly classics btw ;)) and they fail their MOT's :( and classics are more likely to have issues over newer cars which is a pain also :(

Tony:)

bought my 94 classic with a months mot on it, just put it in and hey presto 12 month ticket, no money spent (dont you just love the feeling)

had mine done this week and passed no problem. As tony said tho, its all about just looking after them, same as any car realy.

Ditto, but mine is a Classic JDM STi with 100k on the clock. Last MOT had an advise, nail in the rear tyre:thumb:

Ste98Turbo 07 March 2010 03:55 AM

Same here, 17 year old and straight through the mot last week :luxhello:

his-n-her-scoobs 07 March 2010 08:37 AM

Only had 2 MOT failures in 26 years motoring, and those two due to lack of thorough checking on my part (both broken springs funnily enough). It's about how you look after them, not what make they are or whether they are modified or not....

:)
