Unhappy Oil Leak after spirited drive!?

Hey guys,

As some of you might have read the other week I had a small oil leak which was sorted by the garage.

Anyway - today I had to take one of the guys in work to the garage so on the way back I had a bit of a spirited drive through the lanes.

Got back to the office at 4 then left work around 5:15, got home at 5:20.

When I went out to check something on the car this evening (7ish) there is another small spreading of oil on my drive.

Could my spirited drive earlier have caused a bit of high oil pressure and made it leak somewhere like a weak seal on the sump?

Cheers

Jon.

I was told there was a crimp in the sump plug washer which was changed.

Im going to see if I can get a picture - might help with the diagnosis if you guys can see the oil spots.

Here seems to be where the oil had collected - I am useless with mechanics and cars and have no idea what it is. Does oil even pass around that area?

If not I can go and have another look under the car.

Do you have any idea what it is or do you just turn a blind eye

Was worried in case it was transmission fluid?

Anone know what the piece covered in oil is?

On the sump? Thats where the leak was the other week - dodgy washer on the sump drain off according to the garage. I thought the sump was closer to the front of the engine than where the oil is in the picture though.

I ask to look at the sump plug as that is where the last leak was ..... could it be leaking there again?

A sump plug wouldn't leak just after a fast run ... it would leak at all time, I suspect that there was nothing wrong with the washer TBH - just an easy excuse if you know little about cars.

Is the Oil level OK? Sometimes it is overfilled ...

Checked dipstick again earlier - within the limits near full line.

Am going to ring the garage again tomorrow and take it down there as I do not have any ramps at the house.

Its been fine until today which is the weird thing - could it be an oil pressure issue?
