Quick Tyre Question
Hi all,
Does it make a difference, or are they already, that some Bridgestone tyres are run flats and others are not?
I mean on my car they are 225/45 R17 90W and ones I see are 225/45 R17 91V RE050A

only use runflats on a car that has the sensors to tell you that you have a flat (BMW etc) not a scoob. because of the stiff sidewalls you would not know straight away that you have a flat tyre dangerous in its self!

run flats are a pain in the *** really , i have had alot of people (gurls in minis) driving around with flat tyres untill the treads peel off lol because evenif the light is on the dash they look at the tyre and they look ok so they carry on as normal till it de laminates .
they also give a hard ride and are a hell of a lot of cash .
i dunno what the insurance implications are if you knew it was flat i.e the light is on and you have a crash ??
