Default hey peeps

hi all just thought i`d say hello ive been running a tt legacy gt for a while but for some strange reason swapped it for a n/a impreza sport wagon i had some crazy ideas about seeing what i could get out of a normally aspirated for laughs and was wondering if there are any other sport owners on here willing to share experiences and i`m finding it hard to source parts so if anybody knows of any i would appreciate it
cheers phil

Maybe start with the Impreza specialist like David at Api or Kev at scoobyclinic or anyone at RCM sure they will be able to push in the right direction

Sorry guys the usual answer to people with N/a imprezas wanting more power is: sell it and buy a turbo.

Not rude, not uncaring, just the truth.

Ok David point taken but what if a guy wants to spend some money on a natural engine what sort of things could he do?
Dont no enough to be able to advise him myself but at a guess new air filter, decat exhaust, FMIC,Remap, May be go for a forged bored engine, get it all ported and polished, headers. Sorry just trying to help the thread!! if thats what he has got then its up to him if he wants to spend the money on it!!!

hit the nail on the head shaggy, over the last 6 years ive had a mitsy gto twin turbo, r33 liner normally aspirated, celica gt4 185 and my gt legacy twin turbo so i`m not un educated in the way of forced induction but i got my roots from mk1/2 escorts, busted knuckles and nights spent in drafty garages i have never had an unlimited budget and gain massive self satisfaction driving something i know i have built myself i am one of those people that should i win the lottery would go out and build the lairiest thing on four wheels thats not to say i dont respect anyone who tunes a car by budget and bolt-ons but i have never rolled that way all i am asking is if anybody on this forum has actually tuned an n/a, experience is far more valuable than college degrees

Tom, Thanks for the ongoing promo. BUT, We, I, APi have no experience at all in tuning n/a cars. Therefore I cannot advise.

I work on the rule:- if you don't know something, shut up and watch.....
