Default 2007 sti general questions?

im in the process of buying a 07 STI

does it have a tracker fitted as standard?

where is the tracker located?

should it have a certificate for the tracker?

if it has one fitted, (but no certificate) could a main dealer raise another certificate if i provide V5 etc??

will it run on 95ron? (its a standard STI, NOT PPP.)

As long it is as came out of the factory it shouldbe okay on 95, but as the ECU with adjust the ignition to reduce det the performance will be down. Run a couple tanks of 98/99 through then put quarter of a tank of 95 in from almost empty, you will feel the differnce. You can then top up with 98/99 till you run the tank down next

Yes you pay once a year RIP OFF if some one nicked mine i hope they hit a tree and it catches fire , im glad i dont pay for it as i would not want it found in 15 mins by the police, i would rather pay £28 more and not have it.

my 06 sti had 273 hp in standard form now got a 1 cat removed headers full exhaust and down up pipe vf43 turbo but 07 has this turbo i think a panel filter and uprated fuel pump and a re map now got 334hp.It says on fuel cap what to put in but i always use v power.I think you get better mpg with v power so you might as well use it.

It should have a Metasat tracker fitted as standard. I don't think I have a certificate as such but there was paperwork. The dealer sorted out the registration for me.....
