Impreza HatchBacks and Big Dogs
I have a Wagon, 10 years old - still a great car - but the mind is wandering to a new HatchBack Impreza.
Problem I have is this .... a German Shepherd Dog to fit in.
The Wagon is perfect for her ..... after looking at the space in the boot of the Impreza HatchBack, I'm not at all sure it is big enough for her!?
I'm not too sure that the Salesman would like a big dog jumping into the showroom car!?
The Focus RS is a much deeper boot ... due, of course, to the lack of a rear axle.
So, Impreza HatchBack owners with big dogs .... is it a problem?
Thanks in anticipation.

I hate to say it but you are going to be disappointed. I have a hatch and I love it but I had a wagon (Blob) before and sometimes i really miss the space. My dog is tiny and he can go in the rear but a big dog, it would go in but it would be crouched and ducking and your shopping would be on the front passenger seat!

It's the only thing I'm concerned about .....
I guess the back seats go down, giving extra space - do they lay flat?
Was hoping that someone was able to say that it isn't an issue ... but the silence tells me that not many use the Hatch for carrying big dogs about?

What breed of dog? Lab, maybe, Great dane, no chance.
The seats folded down aren't fully flat.
And no, I don't think any of us hatch owners have dogs.
