rallyenut,
Did ya get me mail?

Since then been quoted £775 for tsw rims and GY f1 rubber, price was for the package but as the rims are usually 460-520 a set that leaves 315-255 a set for the tyres which seems pretty good.price with 205/40/17 rubber came down to £675.

Pembereton Tyres (Jct 26 M6) do them at £124.99 each fully inclusive. If they can do them at that, other should be able to!!

Try Tyremen, Witty street Hull and tell them Geoff with the 22B referred you.

Thumbs up

I was quoted £125 (including Vat and fitting) for 225 x45 x17 for S-02s, in South Norfolk. But decided to change to Toyo Proxes - slightly cheaper plus 5 year accident insurance - to see what they are like.

No complaints so far, definitely better than the S-02s on cold roads (0 degrees C).

I've looked at the S-02 and have used the Bridgestone Potenza re010 tyres, but have just had some Firestone SZ50's fitted at half the price. They are fractionally noisier on coarse chip, but ride and handling are the same and they should last much longer.
