Just had my car serviced and the ScoobySport downpipe fitted by the dealership (ACE Kensington). Car now runs the full system, ITG and HKS SS BOV with ECUTEK stage 1.

Before the remap took place (so it has nothing to do with that) and after the downpipe was fitted during the service, I noticed that the car is releasing very small puffs of blue/grey smoke from the tailpipe after idling for any period of time. My garage said it was due to running a full SS system?!?!?

Is this anything to do with running the full de-cat or did they **** something up at the garage. The car has never smoked before and goes like a train.

Someone please put my mind at rest .

Scottdg.

Wink

Dont worry, this is normal for a decat car, your getting some of the oil out of the inside of the downpipe by the looks, it should go when there is enough carbon build up on the inside of it

Im no expert but my mate had a full HKS de cat system on his MY00 and from time to time you would see the odd puff of smoke out of the backbox.

Hope this helps.

Tony, I trust your experience after reading various posts on here. Was hoping you'd reply.

That's a big PHEW then.

Cheers to Andy also.
