Default MkII Type 25

Bit of a stupid question really so I apologise, but does anyone know a ball-park figure of how many MkII Type 25's have been built by Litchfield?

Cheers,

Kezzo

When I spoke to ian just before I bought my mk1 2005 t25, I think he said they had built from start to present (august 09) 53 type 20/25. 37 of those were mk1's and 7 of those were orders and sold straight into Europe leaving 30 in the uk, I have seen 2 bein broken for parts so from what I know 28 mk1's left and 16 mk2's but that figure might contain a few hatchbacks

Ian has sold three in the last couple of months, one was the original car that we all
saw on fithgear I was up there havin some work done the day he bought it back, he had a black one for sale sept/oct that went for about 26k and I saw
a black aline edition being worked on at Api and then back at litchfield which they were testing the new turbo on, not sure if he still has that one or if it is now sold as I think it was bought for a customer.

Cheers for the info gents. So they are rarer that rocking horse poo then! So the chances of a 2nd hand one coming up for sale are v. slim....

you do not see them that often, there was one up on pistonheads a while back to around 27k so they are not cheap.

Quite often owners sell them back to Iain to pass on again ...

There is the stocklist on the Litchfield site ... but Jenny (Iain's wife) told me recently that she also keeps a list of 'interested parties' so when a car comes up for sale she can quickly match it to a potential buyer ... and these are less likely to get onto their stocklist

So .. if you're interested, I suggest you get your name down ...
