Default Want To Defrost Your Windscreen Quicker????

I picked up a tip on the above recently.

If yer Windscreen is Iced over & you want to get it defrosted Quicker.

Try this>>>>>>>>>>>>Put your Sunvisors down.

Think about it,>>>when you put the blower on the air goes all over the place.

If you put BOTH the Sunvisors down, it keeeps the air where it should be, on yer Windscreen.

Regards

hmm, dunno,on the classic the windscreen vent is only a small bit in the middle so the sun visors wouldnt do much really,if it went all the way along the windscreen then i can see it working

are the later impreza`s better equipped with a longer windscreen vent ?

Makes sense .... but, a quicker way is to put a newspaper under 1/2 parked wipers the night before - lift wipers and remove paper in the morning and you have a clear screen instantly

Just pour luke warm water on the windscreen, then a quick wipe with the wipers, job done! Of course, doesn't apply if your parked in the middle of no where with no access to warm water.

Rig,

Here's a good thing to look at.

Get your Pollen Filter out and cleanit or/replace it.

I got mine out theother day TOPSIDE ONLY!!!

A soft brush you would not beleive the crap in there!!!

Then I got Wifelets Dyson & sucked the other Donkey Dirt out

What a difference, the demister flies.

It should be under yer glove box com partment, in the Owners Handbook it should show you how to do it.

It's worth a go.

If you get stuck give me a shout.

Regards

You unscrew the fitings of the Glovebox.

There should be 2 NEAREST THE CARPET ON THE FLOOR.

The rest inside the govebox.

It should drop down.

If not GENTLY pull the glovebox toward you then pull it down towards the floor.

You will see a huge fan.

ABOVE IT is your Pollen Filter.

Look at the arrow.

It has to be upwards.

Slide out toward you.

As I SAID ONLY THE TOP of it do you brush.

Do NOT touch the bottom part,

Soft Paint brushgets tons of the Donkey Dirt out, as I said I used Wifelets Dyson to clear the rest of the crap out.

Reassemble in reverse.

You won't beleive the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good tip! Cleaned out under the scuttle cover this weekend - full of mud and other soggy crap, so hoping that helps too.

Quite a lot of Classics don't have filters fitted as standard. Thought my JDM one would with its climate control and just found an empty slot. Anyone know of a non-dealer source for Classics as you're looking at something like £30+

I would say so.

Look on Scooby Mods, key in CABIN Filter (it's the same thing) there are diagrams in easy steps how to do it.

If you get stuck, PM me.
