You must be very careful with most covers as will be either, bitch to put on or will end up scratching the paint work Personally a good polish and a few coats of a good wax will protect the car more.

The probelm is, is that i obviously have some very sad, jealous neighbours that scratched my last clio 182 sport and after owning my rb320 for just two days left some lovely slimey phlegm on the drivers door. funily enough this has only happened when parked off of my drive a few doors away as we have another car that was on our drive.
So it is more than just weather protection.
thanks Darren.

Hey man thats not funny... some real haters out there. Can you rent a cheap lock up, 50 quid a week well spent, much cheaper than serving a life sentence after reaping revenge on your neighbours! Mine is on the street and I really wanted it covered but the problem is that ALL covers scratch your paint, you can limit how much it scratches it by making sure the car is totally cleaned before you put the cover on and the fit is a snug as possible with a micro fibre base layer, but like the other fella said, a few good coats of wax is probably better. How about moving!

Lol thats the wierd thing as we live in a really nice area its just there is a housing estate about 10 minutes walk and all the kids get moved from one place to the next and at the moment they have been moved on to where i live, they hang out at the local off licence at the bottom of my road, I know i was once that age but NEVER remember trying to damage cars for a kick.
I think the police have moved them on from my road now but they will be back around summer time i reckon.
I will have to think of something as i dont want scratches so maybe a good cleen and wax, it'll be on my drive from now on and have never had any probs there but you can never be to careful.
Thanks for all advice.
