Now doing 2500 to 3000 plus miles per month, which is double to what i was doing when i bought the car. Petrol was 10 p per litre cheaper than diesel also at that time.
Thought about diesel impreza, but had a fair deal on the Golf.
At the end of the day its a work vehicle, wont be as much fun but no regrets on owning the Hawkeye..

When i first bought my classic 6 years ago was spending £20 a night for first 6 months just driving locally,so easily done spending half months wages on fuel. Now drive the RB320 only 2 days a week otherwise ide be spending at least £150 a week.Imprezas love to drink but are a buzz to drive.
