Default Anybody recommned speakers.

Can anybody recomend decent speakers for a 05 subaru to fit exsisting holes.Or does original head unit not have a very good output? ie is it worth upgrading both?

You can put quite a lot of different speakers into a Scoob so long as you are willing to source, or make, spacers.

Please DO NOT buy speakers on recommendation only. ALWAYS find somwhere/someone who will let you listen to them before you buy. What one person loves, sound-wise, another may hate

I also have Focals, pricey but good. I have 165 v2's which need some mdf spacers to space the magnets away from the window. I was told that the 165 v-slim would fit without spacers.

I had a set of top end Morel speakers fitted to my car in place of the factory rubbish.

They were custom installed by Sonic Frontiers and the doors were sound deadened at the same time.

It is a pity that the factory speakers and radio/cd are so rubbish.

different speakers vary depending on what music you listen to, you are best going to your local I.C.E dealer and listening to them all.

i do believe that infinity do a direct replacement speaker for the front and rear go to their web page and they have an install page which will give you a list of model numbers that fit if you do not want spacers

Just make some spacers out of 18mm mdf and u will fit most 6.5" components in with no issues and will have a much inhanced sound, just remember to sound deaden the doors while the cards are off. As for speakers i use rainbow slx265 deluxe in mine powered off an genesis profile amp sounds excellent.

If you're anywhere in the north, try Bassmechanix! Bassmechanix.com
Great for advice, excellent range and their work and achievements are really impressive! These boys know what they're doing...I'm sure they'd be happy to help/advise.
