Default WTF no way

i took my decat downpipe of my 94 import to replace the gasket and sum of the nuts were startin to slip gettin rounded so i thought ok ill go phone my closest subaru dealers since coundnt get them from local motorstores and town and county in aberdeen want £9.50 a bolt are they havin a laugh is there anyone that has any decent ones or no where to get them cheaper

take them to ur local fix well fasteners etc, and they will match them, make sure they are high tensile and will take the heat

The nuts and the bolts that hold the downpipe to the turbo are a special thread..... I bet you can only get them from a Subaru Dealer OR a specialist turbo outlet

there metric fine thread,you should be able to get them from a decent fixing fastenings store as stated above.
just take them with you so they can check the pitch

ive seen people sell them on ebay for 10 a set new. think these are the bolts not the nuts. dunno how good they are.
anybody know what i can do if the nuts wont come off. starting to round off

B*lx. They're M10 x 1.25mm pitch, nothing mega special about them. Any engineering supplies/bolt supplier should be able to supply them

Use your ingenuity.

First thing, use some Rust Buster/WD40/PlusGas/etc to ease them before you try to loosen.

Secondly if you do start to round them off, you'll often get better luck with a six point socket than you will with a twelve point one.

Thirdly, if all else fails, try a nut splitter, or, ultimately, an angle grinder.

wd40 wont touch em !!!

heat them up is the best way to loosen them

thanks for replys guys i soaked mine in wd40 for i think an hour and it did the trick but the bottom one had to be heated the nuts are gubbed i no wen i went to the motor factors in our town i did take a bolt with me and there nuts tried several just didnt fit they all had thicker threads ill just have to hunt about im strugglin to find somewhere to get them though
