Just make sure you mask off the mating faces where the gaskets go and if powder coating be carefull not unknown for the manifold not to come back the same as it went

this happended to a boy on scoobyireland

jamies manifold started deep gloss almost like glass when fitted but through time it crackled leaving an almost snake skin effect. noticed another problem with powder coating inlet manifolds that would make me have to warn you not to do it!

i would say whatever you coat your manifold with would need to be quite flexible. the aluminium must expand and contract quite a lot with temperature changes and the powder coating doesnt which leaves this effect.

i have heard of to unsatisfied people who had theres powder coated , the 1 had crap go into the manifold , even when masked up ???? caused him to have damaged heads the other was gutted after 2 mths the coating just crackled and flaked off and chipped quite easily
i've had powder coated 1 with no problems on my old sti was on for 18mths
i had a polished 1 on another sti , expensive but looks sweet
i've now had my new type r 1 painted by my paintshop and looks sweet and you can choose any colour in the world then as they mix it onsite
whatever u decide make sure the inlet is masked properly and cleaned inside thouroghly before fitting

There's alot of rubbish talked on here about this very subject. usually by people that have never done it.

I've done countless manifolds and not had problems with any of them.

I've always used a quick coat of etch primer, a couple of coats of normal primer and then base coat and lacquer. I now have a compressor and spray gun but have used aerosols in the past and never had any problems whatsoever.

Just mask everything up properly and let each coat dry properly.

As dazdavis said, do it yourself, take ya time with it getting it clean and free from dirt and grease and give it a good coat of etch primer then some paint. I wouldnt be keen on haveing one powdercoated as they blast them to get them clean normaly and that stuff gets everywhere. Had a rockercover done once on my old honda and all the crap they blasted it with got everywhere, thought i had got rid of it all but i clearly didnt as 2 days later my oil pump gave up due to little bits of grit getting in my oil. Here is my manifold i did myself.

Crinkle black on mine (see below, not the best pic afraid). Scoobyclinic sprayed mine for me and did a top job (nice factory finish). Thumbs for Clinic :

I've just done my Spec C Manifold myself. I've used The black VHT Crinkle paint from frosts. I bought the red thinking it would be an exact match for the subaru OEM stuff. IT'S NOT. It's much more orange and looks out of place. So I decided to go with the black. Here's some pictures:

Got them from Ebay mate.

Beware if you're fitting them to a JDM manifold they'll need some tweaking. But they are very very good value for money.

No sorry mate as mine have been cut down to suit the JDM manifold.

Before I sourced the manifold the blocks that came with the rails fitted the TGV housings.

Perhaps these will help.

They came with the kit. It would be pretty easy to get a machine shop to knock some up for you. Wouldn't cost much either.
