Default scobby wrx turbo 1994 oil drips

hello guys have got a small oil drip going on it under the sump pan ive wipped the plug area and the sump dry to look tomorro where its coming from i think its coming from above somewhere its about 2 drips size of 50 pence piece oil is ok the levels . any ideas what it could be if its above the sump pan ? and how to fix and how hard its going to be

Which side of the engine? If its on drivers side it could be rocker cover gasket...quite common and an easy fix. Otherwise some pics would help. Bob

As above, most scoobys have a small oil leak from the rocker gasket, most people just live with it if its only very minor

yea will try and get some pics. it right under the sump plug and pan just to other side of it facing you .

how hard is it doing the rocker cover not familiar with the engine as ive come from e36 bmw and know my way around them only at min . just fancied a change lol

i really apriciate your reply but as you can see am a newbie and with a completely different car so when you just put crank seal i would be nice if you offer help to do it properly like where its located how hard it is to do and where to get the part . if you know all this then it be great to know . if you dont then just cheers anyway

if its rear crank seal then it's gear box off job
if its front crank seal then it's timing belt off neither of them are small jobs
it could be sump need resealing or rocker cover gasket
pics would help loads m8

will take some tomorrow cause want to take some more of a few things unplugged in the engine bay . cheers
