fpr setting pressure???

Default fpr setting pressure???

hi folks i have just fitted a fuel pressure regulator unsure what pressure to set it at its in psi its not a aeromative one also it has 2 pipes one in and one out also what looks like a vacuum pipe does this pipe just go to inlet manifold

my car is a 94 import
mods are -- tdo5 -fmic -caik- 440cc injectors -unequal length headers-full 3inch decat from turbo-walbro pump-z4 ecu

set it to 2.5 bar or roughly 37 psi vacuum pipe on at idle once the car is up to temp.
Are you having the car remapped ??

Standard fuel pressure is around 3 bar, not sure what that is in PSI.

43.5psi i will 2nd 3 bar......but ideally why not speak to your mapper

172SPORT what u on like its a question not a debate and what makes u think i dont no what im doing just because i was unsure of pressure to set it at thats what this forum is for to help people who dont no ?????? or do u think otherwise

Maybe you should have measured the std pressure first then???

Should be 3 bar above manifold pressure as a starting point. Remove the vacuum hose at idle and then adjust to 3 bar, then re-connect vacuum hose. My opinion is that it should be fitted and adjusted just before a re-map, so it can be set and mapped from there. Fitting without mapping then I would set it to 3 bar above manifold pressure, then monitor lambda and listen for det on a rolling road, then maybe tweak it to suit.
