Unplugging the MAF won't stop someone starting it. Assuming a thick thief, disconnecting the cam and crankshaft position sensors (but not pulling the plugs off completely) will slow them down a bit.

Kids nicked the badge off the back of our van, both badges off the back of our Jag and the badge off the bonnet a couple of nights ago. They also took three of the wheel caps.

Two weeks ago we went to a do in the city centre to come back and find the front 1/4 in our van put through. 1st time we have been to the local town for years, cant remember tha last time we went there on an evening and bang, window put through.

Sucks doesnt it.

The trunk monkey Theft Retrievel system@1min50 is the best one IMO. Soon to be installed on my Scoob to keep it safe.....better value for money than the glovebox skunk anti-theft system

TBH if they have nicked the pole its done you a favour is it shows it wasnt installed well enough,if they wanted your car it shows that pole would only delay them but as shown,i bet no-one saw them taking the pole so it was kinda useless
