Yes you can run your car on 95 ron fuel but really if you spend x ammount on a performance car you want to put the best fuel in it and you do gain power from shell v power or other 99 ron rated fuels

Must admit that when I got mine, I started by just putting 95 ron in, afterall it's cheaper and I'm usually skint... boo hiss!
Then I tried Tescos 99 ron and oh what a difference. Haven't gone back I just eat less.
Are all the premium grades the same? Are tescos pushing it by saying 99, it does seem better than Esso premium.
