Scooby 60-100mph times
#1
What is the official figure? (and for which model)
Magazines seem to have it in 12.5-13.5, but this can't be right as I tested mine on a private road and was getting between 9-10 secs, using a stopwatch (so there is some inaccuracy) - I guess the biggest factor may be that 100mph on the speedo may be something closer to 90mph? (speedo inaccuracies oC to speed)
I have a MY99, SS backbox, ITG panel filter, Optimax.

Not offical, but I've done similar tests (somewhere). Found about 9 seconds as well. 93 WRX, full decat SS exhaust, ITG panel. Got Lockwood white dials, which I think remove the speedo inaccuracies, yet to confirm...
Also, I suppose it depends how the test is done. If I was in 5th doing 60 and floored it, when I would expect the time to be alot more, cause the WRX doesn't pull hard until about 4000rpm, which is about 85mph in 5th anyway. But drop into 3rd, get the revs to 4000 and floor it, hey presto... boost at 0.8-0.9 bars, kinda like the hyperdrive of the millenium falcon kicking in. also big smile on drivers face (due to acc).

akshay67 - I've got an identical car and would think that mine would do it in c. 9 seconds ... as 0-100 time is c. 14.5 seconds I can't see how it would be around the 13 second mark
Mine feels bloody rapid anywhere be it double or in 3-figures
I will try when I can get the car off the missus

Over several runs I get 6.9 from MY00 from 60-100 off speedo starting in 3rd from below 60 and starting the clock as you pass 60. 7.4 as Jon Hill from 65-105 which is probably nearer the mark given speedo inaccuracies. As standard it was 9.4 from 65-105 on the speedo.
PPP, full decat, ITG, Dawes at 18.5 PSI, adjusted actuator, NF 1ml/L.

On the Evo forum figures are being produced at around 12.5-13.5 for the 60-100 dash, and yes, the new WRX is about 2 seconds slower for this speed range - would that be due to the increased weight or what?
