Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Got my Scooby!!
After 15 years of drooling & lusting,I've eventually got my dream mo(ns)tor!
Picked her up last week on Fri 13th! She's a beaut. Hawkeye 06 Sti,crystal grey, black wheels with prodrive lowering springs (the officialy approved ones), newish GoodYear F1 tyres, mapped by Andrew Carr to 382bhp/376torque on road dyno, prodrive gearknob, prodrive splitter, revolution 3" exhaust, Hyperflow Cold Air Kit, Alpine Ipod headunit, new 2-piece brake disks and Carbotech pads.
Since 2001 I got my kicks from my 94 Fireblade which is delightful (in the dry!). My last quick motor (creamy sounding UR Audi Quattro 265bhp) was nice but this baby is on a different performance level! Just so god damn quick & responsive. Not had opportunity to take her up the lakes/decent twisties yet to explore the roadholding/handling as still coming to terms with the power & its delivery but can't wait. Feel like I've wasted 15 years of my life (bringing kids up lol & not having the time/funds to get a Scoob) but now at last I'm savouring surely the one of the things you "must own/try before you die" lol.
Loving every second behind the wheel & feel so sad when I have to back her up into the garage for a sleep, roll on tomorrow when I yet unleash her again!

No, I'm definitely not on that bus! Cheers mate, thanks for the welcome. Still think I'm dreaming until I raise the garage door & whiff the essence of oil, petrol & engine waiting to be fired up! I'm a lucky boy, lol. Fight club? I'm still new here but sure I'll find my way around soon.

Cheers Lee. It came from over your end too, Southport. Ours could mate & have miniscoobs! Wanted the prodrives as in 1st pics which really set the car off but had a limit which I'd already gone over so opted for the stock rims but in black. Will post further pics with blackens on. Sad today though as my splitter has done one! Got an awkward drive & while getting off it/reversing back up,it caught slightly each time so did the necessary r e a l l y slow exit/entrance. But when I dropped my kids off other day (who can't get enough of it!) was admiring the front & 80% of splitter had disappeared leaving just a bit of it left on nearside. Was going quickly replace it so it looked like the day I got it (at more cost!) but think I'll just remove the bit that's left & not bother getting another as the same will happen with the new one. Can live with the looks without the lip. Wondered whether it helped with aeros or is it purely for aesthetics/street cred?

Know what you mean Mark. Got it on Fri 13th & it was wet wet wet. Returned home with it on the waterlogged M58/M60/A580 fishtailing all over, thought I was back on my Blade lol. So much damn torque low down, it hits you like a hammer, ooh hit me again please.

Cheers lads & lasses for your welcomes & comments. Feel part of the family!
Filled her up twice now (Tesco99) & averaging 18.5mpg. Prob improve after initial "honeymoon" month or so but not bad mpg considering what's under the right foot.
Right, bucket & sponge at the ready, time for her bath.

splitter
Hi scixer. Tried that mate but it was too late as a few ups & downs had already loosened it without my knowledge & it obviously "let go" during a high speed blast up the motorway. Didn't see or hear it go. Hope it didn't cause any accidents/damage to other road users! Can just picture a flying black boomerang behind me at ***mph lol, scary.

Looks gorgeous!!!!!! I just got a Hawkeye last weekend and been thrashing it around Essex all morning. There are some great driving roads in the Peak District if you get a chance.
