I have a lambdalink fitted although it is usually tucked away and not seen unless I suspect there is something up.

KS3 Knock Analyser takes care of the rest

I assume you talking about a narrow band AFR gauge and not wideband. If so, they're pretty much usless

If its one that connects to the standard narrow band sensor then I wouldn't bother. If your buying one thats part of a kit that includes a wideband sensor then they are pretty good. AEM UEGO is good.

Your better off with a wideband kit its more accurate. Narrowband cant read properly on boost they are useless

I wouldnt say that narrow band ones are useless, they will tell you if you are going very lean when on boost.

A few people i know had the narrowband ones, and when on boost the needle on the gauge was flicking up and down

You don't need a gauge for that. Your engine would be pinging like mad.
