Default Good insurance for Imprezas?

HI,
I need to insure my MY06 Hawk Eye WRX STi with PPP, can anyone recommend a GOOD cheap insurer. I'm going to try A-Plan, but wondered if there's any others?
I want comprehensive cover, I have a clean licence with full no claims and am 32 years old.
Cheers, Toby

Greenlight, I've been with them for 3 years now, Keith Michaels and A plan couldn't get anywhere near them.

depends what area you live in, i tried gary last time and he could'nt do anything resonable for me.
a plan turned out to me much cheaper.
i'm based in manchester although i will give him another try next time round.

Thanks for all the help.

Gary at Keith Michaels came up trumps. £75 Better than Chris at A-Plan, and nearly £100 better than Greenlight

£675 Fully Comp, not bad I don't think. Insurer is Summit, has anyone heard of them cos I haven't :-/ ?

RAC are looking for market share ..... I have always looked for the Insurer/Broker who is seeking market share - they generally cannot be beaten. It is a different company each year - but that's no great worry.

RAC want £270 from me this year, business use, PNCD and Spouse (with claim) .... looks favourite at the moment.

I so releived that I dont have to go trough all this hassle like you guys in the uk..
here in iceland I pay nearly the same for my 98 Legacy Outback w/wrx swap as I did for my MY91 mercedes benz and also about the same as I paid for my 00 classic impreza turbo

and it doesnt matter how old I am , could be 18 years old.. the insurance would be the same . Im 26 now
