"FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE"
Hello to all members of this wonderful forum. I am a member here since I have purchased my 06 Spec C Type Ra and have found much very useful info here, for which I am very thankful. I am not a UK resident, although have had my scoob in UK for some time whilst I studied in London. The fact is that I live in Moscow, Russia and also am a member of the Russian Subaru forum: STI-CLUB.COM.
Recently we have started a discussion on a possible "club" trip to UK to visit one of the few Subaru events that take place regularly, and this idea has risen much much interest. Obviously we're talking 2010, which gives us plenty of time to organize, and organization is very important to us, considering we will have to drive somewhere around 3000 km one way
So the question really is, what event would you guys say is the most interesting, exciting and colorful from a Subaru fanatic point of view? Where would we be able to see the wildest Subaru creations - RCM Gobstopper for example and other time attack racecars?
We really hope we will be able to come join you people to have fun and share our enthusiasm sometime in 2010. Any info/help will be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Ilya

I would suggest the NBO (Northern Big One) normally around the June/July time, mass gathering of subaru's with some interesting models on show (Lancashire and District Subaru Owners had the Prodrive P2 on their stand at the last one )

Keep an eye on the Time Attack series website for updates. I would think if you want to see the TA cars performing you need to go to one of the events.
Great to see a club out in Moscow, I didn't expect that. Can you use these cars OK over there?

My car is a spec C Type Ra - hence RHD, but even if it wasn't one can drive a LHD vehicle in UK as long as one sticks to the right side of the road we expect to have a minimum of 10 cars driving to UK, however it could easily be 50 or more
If you didn't expect to see scoobs here, check out this thread in NASIOC with a few photos from RUS incl. my car. cars from Moscow - NASIOC
and so u know which is mine

As John said i'd highly recommend going to one of the Time Attack events, as you'll be able to see the RCM and Zen cars in action (aswell as lots of others)
Have a look on Time Attack Series as the dates for all rounds are now on there.

Dates: 2010 Time Attack Series Calendar CONFIRMED Time Attack Series
The Time Attack events are run by/with Modified Live, so use this link and you'll be able to reserve an area at the show to display your clubs cars - http://www.modifiedlive.co.uk/area.php?a=6

There are a lot of different ones, some stock and some with cosworth longblocks on Motec, so it would be hard to talk about specs, considering its just me here

I'd recommend a tour of prodrive, they often have public open days and may even do a private booking if enough numbers. Their workshops/musuem is pure quality

Welcome
Taking in the suggestions above.
Try to get this into one visit....if possible - A tall order
1. Northern big one
2. Visit to Prodrive
3. Time attack day
4. A regional club meet (such as the Essex lot or the Yorkshire lot etc etc)
5. Wales, Snake pass ect - try and take in an area with some good driving roads
