Hi

I would appreciate some help! I need to send four 17" Sti wheels and tyres by courier from Kent to N Ireland. Any tips or recommendations?

Thanks very much.

Last time i sent wheels i just put them on a small square pallet with bubble wrap and card between each wheel then ratchet strapped them down and went round them with cling wrap. Sent mine via tnt next day delivery, think they cost me about £50 to send.

I've just sent 4x18" wheels and tyres by Paisly Freight, wrapped the face of the wheels in old carpet i cut to size then lots of tape and bin liners. £32 picked up from my work and delivered to his work.

Thanks all, I just contacted them. Only problem is that a collection time cannot be arranged, and my wife is not in all day - school run etc!

Time to call in favours from friends or family and get them picked up from somewhere where someone will be in all day, or get them to take/pick up the kids and tell your wife that she has to be in or you'll have no money for her christmas present

eBay!

There's 'buy it nows' for wheel courriers on there, about £25. Used them a couple of times, think they used Amtrack.

tip for you, dont use parcel force/royal mail or dhl or anyone like that they cost a good 100 pounds or more to post.

Thanks all, I have been in contact with Paisly Freight and they are happy to collect from the back garden if necessary. Wheels are going from Kent to N Ireland, and have been quoted £54, so am very happy! Just hope all goes to plan!

Thanks again for everyones input.
