Default ECU AND ALARM PROBLEMS

I now its not a subaru but my LDV convoy petrol/LPG dohc has a slight problem, it started to missfire checked it over and it had a knackard ECU water damage, bought the new ECU and now it wont link up to the alarm system, key fob linked to the ecu no problem but the imobliser wont talk to the new ecu, also four auto sparks have said that the imobliser cant be bypassed as it was factory fitted. What do i do

If its the one that runs the transit engine you can run a wire from live on pump relay to the pump itself, and disarm immobiliser all together.

Its not a permant fix mate u will have to use relay if it works. If im rite theres only one wire that goes to it as it grounds throu engine

Ok ill explain best i can, if you were neare id have done it for you.

LDV use transit engines (different ones)

They are immobilised to pump (key chip)

Some where in there you will see the fuel pump relay. Try and find out which one off the 4 prongs turns on and off throu ignotion. circuit tester or light on 2 wires should help you to do this. connect prongs to tester one by 1 until it shows you which is live.

Then you need to run a wire from that prong to the back off the fuel pump, This will bypass the immobiliser and it should start mate.

I am rubbish at typeing things out mate so if this doesnt help still sorry,

Yes its petrol, some one has told me to get the ECU decoded but how will this help if the imobiliser is linked the fuel pump, i take it when the imobilsier kicks in it shuts off power to fuel pump so how will a decoded ecu help this? Fair engough if the imobilsier was wire to the ecu which it aint. I will try your way pikeywrx im getting there slowly lol
