Smile engine gone bang

Has anybody heared of S.M.R. engines,I,am thinking of buying a S.T.I.full re-con off them.So if there is anyone in the community of Scoobynet had dealings with them I would be happy

You can fix it yourself and save some money, get a can of gunk, some really thick oil, some string and duct tape, or get it rebuilt which would be my choice

if u want to get running cheaply... buy a written off running scoob, change engine, sell all other parts on here, make ya money back... fix your car effectivly for free!!

thats what i done!

OR...

if you have a well filled wallet, try some of the specialists. David @ API was very helpfull to me when i was going to use them, my money didnt happen tho hence i done it my self!

lots of bad reports about smr engine on this forum. id avoid if i were you. ource a seconf hand unit yourself (and hear it running) or rebuild.

I used them before and wouldn't go anywhere near an SMR engine again
