pro s and cons of 3inch straight through

Default pro s and cons of 3inch straight through

my wrx is pretty standard at mo but wanting to mod up 2 350 bhp.will i need 3 inch pipie all the way or will i be ok with 2.5 straight through exhaust

As far as I know up to 400 you should be fine on a 2.5 system, anything above you will need 3", problem with a 3" it can make it tricky to pass thr sound test on track days from what I have found anyway

On my classic I had a 3" all the way through, Long as it has a remap then it will be fine and sound awesome!

Cheers boys, some1 else told me bout u def needing a remap why is this?do they sound alot better then

i have a 3inch straight through on my uk turbo its been on for over three years without a remap and is fine (i hope) i know a few guys who havnt had remap but if you can afford i would have it done to get more benefits.

i will def have a remap in time as i want to hit my 350 mark so will need a simtek.just was wondering why a 3inch could be much diff to a 2.5inch.

i will also have a afterburner vortex backbox will i be able 2 put a 3 inch downpipe and 3 inch center section on to it can any1 help me
