It's a shame you feel that way without having come along. It's a great opportunity to meet new faces, have a chat and make acquaintances.
There are no donuts in car parks and we drive in convoy at less than the speed limit, for sure there is a bit of noise in the tunnels but as they are average speed enforced it's always at a slow speed.
At the end of the day we've raised over £6,000 in the 6 years it's been running, that's all that matters.
I doubt I've changed your mind but I would like to dispel any false impressions

What a great night it was. Great to see so many people meeting up to have a good night out for a well worthy cause. This event has raised £ thousands for the Essex air ambulance over the years.
Makes me proud to be a Subaru owner and a member of the ESC

The pic was taken three days after picking the car up

Dunc, i appreciate your comments and agree on the most part.
However, i am an ESC member that didnt actually attend the TR. Its not really my thing either. However it is a very well organised event by people that put in alot of effort to make a safe and peaceful atmosphere.
All of the funds raised are for the Essex Air Ambulance, and the guys involved do a cracking job.
For the effort alone, you cant knock the event.
