Will a WR1 interior go in to a classic?
Just wondering if I could take the interior noted here:
https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...preza-wr1.html
& squeeze it in to a classic? Easy to do or unwise? Also I'm mechanically a dunce so who might be able to swap it over for me?
Ta, TX.

Tx I am sure it will fit, I think the front seats area straight bolt on job, the backs I think require a slight tweak to the brackets but I don't think the door cards fit you would need to get your originals retrimed.
I thought about putting newage seats in my p1 but I had the chance of sitting in a classic with it done up at Api and to be honest I did not like it. As you kind of sit higher up almost sitting on the car not in it like the classic seats, it's hard to explain as it's not noticable when you sit in a newage car
I am sure people who have done it will be along to tell you how it's done, also I think there is a fitting guide in the tecnical section or a quick search function should pull it up

I fitted 06 sti ones and yes it's nearly a straight swap, (case of un-doing a dozen nuts, that's about it) they will sit a little higher but after adjusting steering rake etc I found it didn't take that much getting used to tbh, but passengers often notice that they are sitting high up.
Only thing I found with the rears was it leaves an inch or so gap between the parcel shelf and the top of the rear seats that needs filled (I covered some foam pipe lagging with black cloth)
They will be a little heavier too but not much.
I love mine, totally transforms the inside and would never go back, do it.

Thanks chaps
Anyone else on here done it & care to comment on the "sitting high up" aspect, ta.
My alternative is to leave rears as is & get some recaros or similar for the front ... I do love those black Spec C / WR1 seats though!

yes will fit, as mentioned there will be a gap at the back parcel shelf , also best to test that your seat belts fit the new clips on the seats your fitting otherwise you will have to remove again to replace with your old ones
