Default turbo question

hi im hoping to get my 98 wrx wagon to 300bhp , what turbo would be best to replace the tdo4 with and would i need to change injectors ( i know ill need an apexi ecu) it already has 3" stainles exhaust (and decat downpipe in garage waitng ) cheers j

not sure what injectors are standard on yours if yellow 440's then no need to change as they are plenty goood for 300

as for turbo vf34 or 35 will do the job not sure if straight swop on yours tho , someone else will confirm and put me right ..lol

you need a set of injectors, uprated fuel pump (would be a good idea to change) turbo and a the ecu that is mappable.

vf34/35 are very popular and will get you to around your target figure.

vf35 tends to be cheaper and more readily available to buy and will offer you similar spool to your existing td04.

i think your current top mount will cope with that sort of power just remember you only have a open deck block engine so you don't want to push it too far.
