Default Impreza crash/saftey tests

How do they hold up/rate in a heavy impact? esp would like to find out how safe the early classics are, cant find any info anywhere on the net

This bad crash in Manchester has got me thinking just how safe is my 3 year old son in the back.

Classics have side-impact beams in front and rear doors, but I'm pretty sure the first ever 'N-cap' test for any Scoob was the 2009 model, so no idea how safe compared with other cars.

I looked into this a while ago, will try to post links if I saved any.

Cheers, 4 out of 5 on a front impact isnt too bad, shame there's nothing about side/rear impact or roll safety.

Side Impact - Telegraph Pole at circa 90mph

Fire crew said it would have been death in a car with a less solid shell.
Pins in the left arm and leg and about 6 months later he was right as rain, they are solid cars!
