Four pots are a straight swap for two pots. Brake discs are the same size as well.

4 pots are 294mm
To the OP also worth buying a set of Goodridge braided hoses and using 5.1 fluid

As above, the brake discs are different sizes.
Also, don't buy brake fluid just based on the DOT rating. We use Motul RBF600 here.
100s of standard and grooved discs in stock, plus plenty of pad options.

Yes the 4 pot uses a larger disc , you must check as well as the 4 pots dont fit under the early wheels , so check before buying some as it could work out more than you bargained for with having to buy new wheels as well.

the easiest way is to see if the callipers have subaru writen on them.
Had 4 - pots on my last turbo and they were alot better than the sliding 2 pots.
Also they will fit under standard my97 16's as thats what i had.
Just in the process of doing the upgrade on my current MY97.

One word of warning - beware buying used 4 pots unless you can inspect them first !!! or they look VERY clean in the pics on Ebay.
What seems like a bargain may not be if there is lots of rust and any of the pistons are sticking.
I bought a set of used calipers, discs and pads, but by the time the calipers were stripped down to check them over, only the shells were really worth keeping ( wasn't too bothered as they were cheap enough, and I had planned on replacing the seals anyway ) - so add on £110 for new pistons, £30 for new seals and £25 for new pins / clips, plus more money for paint / sandpaper etc... if you are planning on tidying up !
You probably can get away with it cheaper, but for peace of mind I'd not be happy just bolting on someone elses calipers and assuming they are going to work properly and not cause problems or fail in use.

Have to agree, most 4 pots being sold second hand are past their sell by. Sticky and leaky pistons being the order of the day (most of them sticking).
To top off: 4pots are not that much better than the old 2 pots IMHO: I've seen greater differences with sticking on fresh disks and pads and giving the fluid a good flush and bleed.
I'd rather save the money and go for a proper big brake conversion: Why do things by half?
