What size disklok does a MY99 Impreza need?

disklokTM Small size..........................13 3/4" up to 15 1/4" (35cm up to 39cm) diameter

OR

disklokTM Medium/Large size.........15 1/2" up to 17 1/4" (39.5cm up to 44cm) diameter

Only asking because there is one in the for sale section, I want to make sure of the size before I buy it.

how many key r u suppose to get with a new disklok?

will it have any fitting problems due to the airbag, ie does it need a special fitting disklok for the Scooby?

No.

Get a small one from Halfords or somewhere. You get two keys I think

 

I was considering the secuirty issues with buying a second hand disklok, ie another set of keys made by a locksmith

 

As i remember rightly - No - the keys are laser cut & duplicates are available from disklok with the appropriate serial no.

As for security - I wouldnt get too excited about disklok - I locked mine on my scoob (having left the keys 100 miles away!)...... it took the garage 15 seconds to take off - and you dont need a plug in tool

Disklok comes with 3 keys & a serial number on a metal tag so you can order replacements.
