After 2 years of my E46 M3 I am picking up a silver Spec D at lunchtime today.
The test drive brought back happy memories of my old classic and made the M3 feel heavy and clumbersome by comparison.
I was told by the dealer that most Spec D's came in grey and I must admit most I have seen were grey.
Just debating the boot spoiler now as I am not sure I like it with just a lip.
Cheers
Steve

In 2007 there was a run of STi 'Limiteds' very similar to the Spec-D but actually more discreet.
Yours is probably Urban Grey, also in White and Black IIRC. SpecD's were only made in Crystal Grey and have a drivers side silver sticker limited run 1 of 300

Thanks for letting me know..
It does look very similar in colour to that in the 2nd link.
I also have the benefit of the PPP being fitted to mine aswell, so making it even more discreet than normal.
Still debating the spoiler though, will see how I live with it for now with the lip spoiler.

Congrats!
I've just made a similar move, nearly 3 years ago I went from a V5 STi Type Ltd to a 330Ci M Sport Individual. Thats now been sold and been replaced by another STi My New Scoob.
I must admit before I picked up the scoob I thought I'd made a mistake but the second I got in the new scoob I knew it was 100% the right thing to do!
Havent looked back and I'm finding any excuse to go for a run out in the car, which isnt something I've done or even thought about since I had my last scoob. Now, any journey home is via the longest route possible
Enjoy

I have just brimmed the tank..ready for a weekend of driving out & about.
I have one (daft?) question though.
How do you disarm the immobiliser if you dont start the car before the red light goes out & it kicks in?

Ignition off, lock then unlock (using the remote) and get the engine started before you have to do it again!
Its quite annoying isn't it!

Turn the key until the ignition lights are on on the dash and then press the unlock/lock button. The light should flash quickly and then it is disarmed.

I have been doing the 'lock / unlock' method so far, as I havent been able to get the lad in his booster seat & belt on inside 30secs!
I will try the ignition lights on & then fob button, thanks for the advice.
