has anyone got any idea how i would patent a product i am about to either make or sell the patent and drawings

You need lots of money and a patent lawyer I believe.

Dragons Den isn't about pitching inventions, they invest in businesses. Getting an invention off the ground can be a long arduous process and cost you a lot of money so you have to be sure your invention will sell a lot.

A full patent is going to be about 10k on average, You can apply and the patent pending will be good enough to talk to venture capitalist about your idea.

Aim higher than the Dragons den, A normal venture company will be able to appraise you without making you look like a *** on TV if they feel they dont like you for whatever reason.
