I've never been, but I'm planning to this year - a young chap who works for me in my lab runs a very tasty looking mk2 Golf GTi, & he went last year. He said that there was a load of wheel & accessory manufacturers, as well as a bit of trackday action & passenger drives. He said on the final day (the Sunday), a lot of the suppliers there flogged there stuff off cheap, particularly the wheels on the passenger ride cars. Whether it's worth driving down from Scotland for, I wouldn't like to say. I'll ask my colleague tommorrow & post an update.

I go to this most years and am again this year! if you have a VAG group car then its a great event. Lots of cheaper modded parts for your cars. Nice cars ( and ladies! ) to look at. The 1/4 mile drag and handling course are a bit of fun too. got a set of 17's for my car last year with new tyres for £400. Cant argue with that price really can you. Think they will only let VAg cars on the strip and circuit though. If you want more info then go to

Spoke to my colleague - he said it's a good day out, particularly if you're down here anyway, & you don't expect to see wall-to-wall Scoobs & have an open mind about other makes. He also said that he couldn't really say whether it was worth making a special journey all the way down from Scotland because he didn't want to be held responsible if you were disappointed by the show! He also mentioned some of the things BBSparkys_Cupra said. It's down to you!
