Default "Layup" Policy??

Am thinking of taking the P1 off the road for a while and wanted to have it insured under a layup policy for fire/theft etc but not being driven.

Will be contacting the usual suspects (a-plan etc) on Monday but wanted to know if anyone has done this or best place to get it?

Thanks all!

Thanks for the tip...when I have spoken to insurnace companies in the past to try and have this done they seem to be baffled as to what a layup policy is!

Has anyone ever had one before?

Just want to make sure the car's insured incase of fire or theft.

Thanks.
