Powdercoating costs?

Default Powdercoating costs?

i am getting my wheels powdercoated in the next few weeks just wanting to know the going rate for as not whating to get ripped off with the price.

would i be rite saying £20-£25 a wheel? they are 17s

i tried two places mate when i was thinking of getting mine done both quoted £70 a wheel

try a place in castleford called midas touch they quoted me great price for my calipers and brackets

i got mine done at specialised powder coatings in halifax about 3years ago and it cost me £100 for all four 16". might be a bit more now. or theres sherwoods in brighouse, they might do them.

Theres somewhere in West Yorkshire doing them by the inch. The price was really low, but I cant find the thread - it was a few years ago it was last mentioned though. It was on £1-odd an inch too!

I paid £180 for 17's in white which included sand blasting 4 months ago.

£25 a wheel is cheap... that is what I can get it done for (on a 18" wheel), but the normal rate is around £50-£70 a wheel to strip, re-furb, powder coat and lacquer.

hi mate cas coatings in bradford charge £1 per inch matt or £1.50 with a top coat
they do a wicked job and loads of colours to pick from

i got 2 sets done from them both sets 18" and cost me £144

they in idle dont no the address but they in the yellow pages

go to the wyioc part of scoobynet and ask in there ,as i put theplace forward to a few lads and there was all impressed

LSN coatings in Castleford, £100 a set for 17's any colour you like !

A mate had his VXR 18's, coated, the faces lathed back and then laquered - £40 a corner - some place near Brands Hatch did them. Thought that was a good price

down near me kin get it at 30 quid per wheel including any repairs takin old tyre off an fitting new and balancing am takin my 18s to get done shortly
