this car is fantastic!!!

As far as the clocks are concerned, one way to do it would be a newage engine and ECU. Under those circumstances it's easier to go the whole hog with a newage loom and matching instrument cluster than anything else. Beyond that, aftermarket ECU with CAN, a few other ways.

Nicely done. Not a fan of the arches - but to each their own re. cosmetic stuff. Seems a bit incongruous too to build what appears to be a caged, stripped out lightweight special, and then hobble it with a sunroof.

come on how can you not like the car. anyhow the clocks, if i understand correctly i can fit a set of those clocks with an aftermarket ecu? like a apexi power fc, right?

At end of day you could fit those clocks with a standard classic Impreza provided you or someone else can design and make the adapter(s) necessary to interface the clocks with the ECU, speed sensor, fuel sender, diff ECU etc etc. That's the tricky bit. Dropping in an entire newage engine and electronics pack is probably the closest option to "plug and play" there is, but it's not exactly cheap.

The beer cans are his security system, car moves, cans rattle !
As for clocks, ecu and clocks from a new-age added by a wiring wizard, IMHO.

think it looks pants. guy just bought a set of wheels that were way too wide and went for the cheapest option to cover em up. from behind its comedy
its the sort of thing you look at and think wtf was going through this guys head when he sized up his wheels
thats my thoughts.

I'll stick my neck out and say persoanlly I think it looks awful. Think someone has been watching too much Fast and Furious. Not sure how widenting the track like that will make it handle, but I have my suspicions. And those arches.... yuck!!!

Look maybe it is all properly sorted or maybe the suspension and drivetrain mods are as naff as the styling, but no matter what using your 22B example is just laughable compared to this monstrosity.

Did the 22B just not have a different offset on the wheels? IIRC - well more a case of
if I was informed correctly - Prodrive were asked to develop different track arms etc. However it worked out too expensive - hence the wheel offset.
Personally I think it will handle okay.

it will handle ok as long as it runs spacers and has 3 way adjustable suspension so geometry on it can be set and wheels dont hit the suspension. it just looks shocking. guy must have spent mega bucks on the engine etc then just run out of money but needed wider track for racing. hey presto these pants arches were born

Thats f'in sweet! love it.
Them arch's would only suit somthings with massive tyres! like this one has, so unless your gonig to change the wheels and tyres for ones like them its going to look naff.
