Mud flap advice
Thinking about getting myself a set of mud flaps for my new age STi, been looking on scoobyworld at their standard WRC style mudflap kit, the pvc ones. Just wondered what the quality was like, and if there as easy to fit as they claim. Or is it worth spending the extra cash on the Kaylan material flaps ?

I fitted a set of the scoobyworld ones just before christmas and am very happy with them, very good value for money in my opinion, easy to fit, the trickest part is drilling the holes in the front wheel arches so make sure you've got a good drill bit. The only thing I would do different is to paint the metal brackets to match, other than that very good IMO

Fitted some Scoobyworld mudflaps about 6 months ago. Really easy to fit and look spot on. Agree with the chap above, make sure you have a decent drill bit when making the holes in the front wheel arches.

I had PVC on my 53WRX, Kaylan on my MY06 STi and now Kaylan on MY05 STi, easy to fit and a great price.

I got Scoobyworld flaps and there great takes about 1 hour to fit
I used self drilling screws instead of drilling holes into the arches it then takes seconds, You can get them from places like Screwfix for a few pence !!
Not sure about painting the brackets as they are stainless steel and weather in to the car nicely

For my classic I got mine from Scoobyparts.com. Very good company I've found to deal with. Only thing with almost all these kits even though the bracket's are stainless steel the actual bolt's & screw's that are supplied are usually only zinc plated rubbish. I'd check before buying and get some good quality stainless steel bolt's & screw's so that you can fit them first time round rather than do it again in 2 months when the originals have rusted.
