Default changing dash light colour

Hi all,
I want to change the color of the dash lights to blue to match the blue stepper motor guages i fitted a while back.I've read on here that some of you use a film to cover the bulbs,so could anyone tell me where in Essex i could buy that and also instructions on how to do it
Many Thanks
John

in the earlier scoobs the bulbs on the clocks are the same bulbs as the sidelights and easily picked up from many places cheap as chips unsure if they are the same on newer models so could be worth strippin out clocks

Cheers for that Foofighter.. I was going to go down the "lighting gel" way. Ive cracked into the dash and all the bulbs are clear. The green tint comes from the back of the dial face and I was told that removing the dial needle`s would break them. ve got a few idears but wondered if you had found a way..thanks again.

No prob mate I don't know if you know or not but when you fit plasmas you don't have to remove the needles you just thread them through the centre hole of the dials. They come with fitting instructions to show you how

You dnt remove the temp and fuel needles when fittting lockwood dials just the rev and speedo needles using 2 spoons,If you get the lockwood easyfit dials you will be fine,If you fit plasma dials you dont have to remove any needles but you have to keep original dials underneath the plasma ones as they have the speedo and rev stopper on.Found this all out the hard way after fitting lockwood dials and got through 2 sets of clocks.
