Default New boots for 2008 STI Recommendations?

My Dunlops are getting pretty low now (14k) so am looking at switching brands?

I'm on the 18" BBS rims running the standard 245/40/R18

Any recommendations?

My current shortlist is

1: Back on the same Dunlops
2: Toyo TR1 Proxys (Had them on my 2003 STI)
3: Perellis?
4: Bridgestone (Love the RE07's but not available in 18"..so RE05's?)

cheers in advance

The Ultrac's read like they have quite a soft compound...? how many miles did you get on a set?

Yes I must admit I'm swaying towards the F1 Assymetricals... pity because I love the look of the toyo tread pattern.

A couple of mates of mine swear by Goodyear Eagle F1's, similar tread pattern to Toyo's T1R's.

Goodyear F1a's for me also - only 3000mls on them so far but excellent in wet & dry, cold or when warmed up - much better than the std rubber on the 08sti.

Nice pattern also imho...

Michelin pilot sp, after you bulk at the price (shop around) and have them fitted you will not be disappointed the dry weather grip is stunning and in the wet you have to push to ridiculous levels to get any where near a bum clencher, the toyos on your list are not much cop on the track and once warm bubble up and slide, ok (ish) on the road though.
