Hi Iain,

I had a blitz nur spec from turbo back and had it tested at snetterton,,,,, 127db, Put the cat back into the center section and only just got through their 105db limit,

If you fail the db test and you havnt got another quieter exhaust with you then all you trackday money is gone, no refund,

I know have a magnex full system which is nice and quiet on the motorway but is nice and loud on full throttle,

It depends how hard you press the throttle pedal... You may well pass the static test but the drive-by, if they have one, will kill you, as the car is on-boost and MASSIVELY louder...

my classic passed snetterton ok with blitz nur backbox.
i thought i would try hold it 1k of revs lower than i was asked and it failed, got told off by tester cos he said hold it at higher revs and it is actually quieter, reheld at higher revs and passed easily.
they will do a noise test for you before you pay if you ask

Had mine tested at Mira some time back:

"
4000RPM:
100.1
100.8
102.2

4500RPM
102.4
102.2
102.1

5000RPM
105.5
104.9
105.0

That was with the bung in, static"

some different results here, am I right in thinking the blitz nur package consists of a 2.5 into a 3" centre section and the backbox?
