Default Hatch - transplant ?

Due to alcohol....

Should I buy a new cheap spec Impreza hatch, strip it out cage it up and then transplant my STI running gear into it ?

A 2.0R could donate a reasonable replacement engine/transmission to put in my bug-eye shell ?

So after a chat with "Moley" this morning, for around £150 a year more I can custom build a caged up 1.5 R Hatch into a Time Attack replica using my bug-eye as a donor.....

Virtually all I need are suspension, roll cage and "body kit" ! And a few volunteers to help !!

LOL

P.S. Off to the dealers now.....

So yo're in my "crew" then ?

Went down today and poked around a new WRX, a bit over spec'd for my plan,( Wuhahaha ! )... but my wheels won't fit someone has decided that interior space is more important than big fat arches.

That's a deal breaker for me... can't see any point in cut'n'shut'n the STI body work on, so looks like I'll have to make do with mine, (OR a new STI 330S ? )
