Default Power steering pump fluid

Been up at Bedford today and have noticed the power steering pump tank has been leaking, so will have to go to halfords tomorrow but and this may be a stupid question but do I need a perticular make / brand or number such as brake fluid etc or will any fluid do?

Please don't shoot me down

cheers

Is it Dextron 2 or Dextron 3?

Not sure what the difference is, but I guess there is some?

definately Dexron II for classics as my handbook states and i've actually used Dexron II with no problems.
As for difference i think that 3 is just an improved formula

Pretty sure you shouldn't mix them though (e.g drain it completely and refill with the new fluid)
